Water and sanitation in school and community
AVCOH UGANDA works with children in 27 villages surrounding 9 primary schools on how to manage and maintain water source, soap making under wash project, forming health club in school, training girls on how to use re-useable pads in the villages using the local available materials to promote general hygiene in the sub counties of Agali Amach and Agweng.
HIV AIDS
Alternatives To Violences Centered Organisation For Humanity (AVCOH) Uganda recognizes the needs for healthy living of the community living with HIV AIDS, through funding from NUMAT project, AVCOH is implementing community sensitizationand awareness creation on HCT, PMTCT OB+, VMMC, ART, FP, Condoms, Malaria prevention, TB, Nutrition SRH, protection for target groups of children, PHA, pregnant women and couples in the entire Lira district.
CCI also supported over 4000 people affected with HIV/AIDS under the project of strengthening care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS and enrolling new PHAs into care and treatment supported by Join Clinical Resarch Center(JCRC).
